Overview of activity	Things to consider
Children and/or equipment can be used to demonstrate bar modelling in maths. For low numbers this could be the children themselves or bean bags/cones inside hoops/chalk lines. For larger numbers this could be with children holding different A4 place value cards.	You will need equipment for different parts of the bar model (e.g. hoops, chalk). You may need cones/bean bags/place value cards. Better in a large space but could be done with a small group in the classroom.
